The Most Controversial Weapon in Elden Ring History
#eldenring #fromsoftware #videoessay
When you think of a weapon that has broken a game what comes to your mind? There’s some literal examples then there’s weapons so overpowered that they tip the scale of balance on its head. Then there’s one in elden ring we have already talked about, how it almost ruined the game, the rivers of blood kitana. But.. what if I led you the wrong way, what if there was one weapon that could be any weapon in the game while you used your own? See, this isn’t a video about a weapon, this is a video about a spirit summon that can create any weapon and build, this is what happens when Elden RIng showed players that an easy mode did exist.. This is the story of the Mimic Tear. The Most Controversial Weapon in Elden Ring History

I guess looking at her arcane resistance prime Ludwig would body her
Malenia is optional.
Is it in the remaster
My friend introduced me to Dark souls 3 this year as I was getting kinda bored of the games I had. To be honest I was actually enjoying the game, but when I got to Nameless King idk how many times I fought him might’ve been 20 but he was so challenging that no matter what I do I will always remember the hell I went through with him
whos herer from the king of rizzes livsteram
They should've nerfed him. But only in the ways that were absolute BS. Like his divebomb move having a hitbox the size of the moon pre-nerf. I never got to experience pre-nerf radahn. But I wish I did. Now that I can pick apart most bosses, it does suck to know there used to be an arguably harder boss than malenia.
I seriously can’t understand how people find him so hard?? Even before his patch I killed him on my first try while underlevelled too
I played Elden Ring for the first time 2 weeks ago and if it´s any conciliation, I think Radahn is quite challenging still, whatever the state of the patch may be now I have been rather thorough in my Exploration so when I got there I think I was around level 55 I cannot really say that I enjoyed the battle a lot though since for most of the time I was simply not sure on what the game expected me to do or what would be the best way to approach the fight On Horseback it´s near impossible to escape some of his attacks and on foot it does not feel much better since due to his size I ended up having the camera glued to my arse a lot and blindly roll spamming my way through his twirling sword strikes, furthermore a common trend in Elden Ring are these really long winded combo-attacks were all you can do is frantically run or roll about the place and hope that by the end of them you have enough Stamina left to get a hit in (which is easier said then done with a weapon of medium speed) this is less a flaw of the Boss or the enemy it´self and more a flaw that comes with playing as a guy with very limited mobility options, the Foes have evolved, and what they can pull off by now is impressive, but one thing that I imagine that pulls peoples grudges in, is the Fact that the Tarnished has barely anything new they can bring to the table that the Slayer of Demons, the Chosen Undead, the Cursed Undead and even the bloody Unkindled did not already have in some way I played Sekiro right before and it may have hurt my experience, because why the game it´self is thematically, narratively and artistically a treasure trove, playing it sometimes feels like being expected to win a Formular one race inside a Mini Cooper
I think they are actually made from a player dropping an item and not collecting it back. Then it disappears and shows up as Vagrant in another players world. Not from dying with lots of souls
Oh yeah and one more thing lol millenia is not the hardest boss by far super easy to cheese as far as I'm concerned the hardest bosses are the ones that are designed so well that there are no ways to cheese them Y'all let me know if you find one of those lol there is no hardest boss it's a myth lol
I was AFK for a while then I came back and was down near 4 kings entrance killing some guy hiding in a cubby. I got blasted in the back by a magic attack and it one shot me. As I died, I got just a glimpse of a glowing crab thing. I thought I was going crazy. I was apprehensive to post on the subreddit asking what the hell just happened.
gna in gowr is harder
I beat her 4th try....
First time I played against the nameless king it took me one try. I came from Elden Ring and wasn’t sure what all the hype was, but since then he’s killed me a few times.
Honestly I'd argue that Darklurker is the first true challenge boss and is even more hidden
Namless king is such a great boss. Since dark souls 3 was my first souls game, I found him completely impossible. I think I had about 50 attempts or so and just gave up and moved onto bloodborne. I recently replayed dark souls 3 after finishing elden ring and beat him first try. I was quite shocked to be honest and still don't know how I did that. I realised his boss design was basically the basis of every elden ring boss and that's why it felt easier. The fight still holds up incredibly well in every aspect (and to be honest I the average boss quality in ds3 is better than elden ring bosses). Its one of the best arenas in the series and his moveset is so weighty and awesome that finally beating a seemingly impossible and powerful foe feels so rewarding. His entrance is amazing too and really gets you hyped for the fight.
My favorite character/boss in a video game. After 150 tries and learning her moveset I beat her and… was sad when I did… it was an awesome fight.
Took me 5 tries
I love the way she moves. She knows when to dodge and also when to back away when staggered. Makes it feel like a real duel.
15:31 I would pay to have watched this live 💀💀💀
Nothing to do with this video but as a sword practitioner i have to say, when Malenia dashes in and strikes up in the cut scene, before she does she turns her sword. Its so little of a detail but has so much effect compared to other games that would just roll into an upward strike. The little details like that are why this is my favorite game. Plus, its Skyrim but better. I never thought i would say that. I'm still new, on my 1st playthrough. I got it back in Jan and I'm taking my time, soaking in every little detail and drowning myself in lore. Plus, i stopped playing for a few months until i knew when the expansion takes place. Basically to see if i should wait to beat the game and what level i should be for the new content. I'm honestly not struggling in the game either. I think its because of how I'm taking my time. I'm being more observant and paying more attention to my surroundings. I also main a tank so i can easily sit back and learn bosses move sets. Sorry for rambling. Love the video dude.
bro has clearly not fought isshin or inner owl or demon of hatred
Malenia is way harder than Isshin
I got lucky and cornered her with deaths poker and poked her to death. After about 30 tries of course
What class you used against her. I’m starting the game at the moment
Is Elden Ring that hard? Honestly, if you use your summons, the game become pretty easy. What give this sensation to Elden Ring is because you start lost, not knowing what to do or where you should be, we are barely aware that we should explore the caverns and Catacombs before engage the Dungeons before going to main Dungeons with exception of Raya Lucaria.
I still want Demise to come back and just make Ganondorf look like a bitch
I have meat it once
I've seen the evil version twice. Once on my way to Nito, and once on my way to Manus...and one of them, accualy killed me And the good one I've seen only once, in the church before Gargoils
i found them on my first playthrough before the gargoyles
I think maybe the blind swordsman sealed away the scarlett rot with love not martial prowess..
On my first play through and I encountered one already lol
I don't understand why people think Radahn is hard even pre nerf use scarlet root activate all the summon and RUN for the beach I've never die on Radahn...
at the bottom of the automatic lift in anor londo.
Bloodborne Miyazaki "okay i want the best combat animators we got on this one" HR "well only get one use out of them but okay on it"
I’ve seen two of them and they’re beautiful
i saw this today. literally on my first playthrough wtf.
Vagrants can also spawn by dropping items on the ground and then not being picked up. Resulting in them traveling peoples worlds as drift items until they turn into a vagrant.
I beat her on my second try. I found a few other Elden Ring bosses to be way harder.
I found one of them in the church in my first playthrough. He almost killed me with the porjectiles attack, I run up the stairs and the baldur soldier killed me xDD
I was wondering what that was when I killed it and dark souls 1
I did not count, but it took me three evenings to beat him.
I had to kill him b4 the nerf
Ive seen them i thought they just spawned in the dukes archive
First play through I genuinely beat him in like 5 tries and almost cried
I did beat pre-nerf Radahn but it was a tough fight. I had the DEX/INT build at that time which was busted as well when I did it.
Except they do this literally every game. This is super clickbaity fromsoft likes to release challenging games meaning at launch sometimes they push a bit past “the player must learn and adapt” to “the player must play nearly perfectly and get lucky in the bosses attack pattern” several bosses have been buffed and nerfed in every single souls game.
That awkward moment when Mini-bosses are harder to deal with than actual bosses. Btw, wasn't Original Raddan harder to beat? Besides, gravity is the hardest boss of them all. Hell, you HAVE to die to it at the start of the game.
A beat him first try. I genuinely think dancer of the burial valley was a heart of Boston, then the nameless king 😅
That Guardian right outside Maliketh's door was far more difficult to beat than both the somewhat hidden Dragon Boss and Maliketh combined. I only died once between those two fights, that guardian killed me at least 15 times.
